Carol Yvonne Flipse is an RN, BSN, CLC. She received a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Western Governors University and her lactation certification from the Academy of Lactation Policy and Practice. Carol will be sitting for the national exam for the International Board of Certified Lactation Consultants in March 2023.
As a professional nurse, Carol has spent over 20 years of her career providing varying levels of care to mothers, babies, and their families. She has also spent much of her career supporting and educating nurse colleagues and university nursing students in the specialties of Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, Mother/Baby, Neonatal Intensive Care and Pediatrics.
Recognizing her passion to support women in their transition into motherhood, Carol became certified as a Lactation Counselor in 2015. Since completing her certification, she has worked with hundreds of mothers in successfully achieving their breastfeeding goals. She also understands the importance of continuing to stay up-to-date on current lactation research.

Carol is the owner of New Life Lactation Services of Medford. She enjoys traveling, outdoor adventures, crocheting and spending time with her husband Andrew and Yogi, a very special 2- year-old dog. Carol is also the co-owner of The Zen Den on Main in Medford, NJ. The Zen Den on Main is a shoppe specializing in items such as essential oils, minerals and gemstones, herbal teas, handmade soaps, and other holistic items sourced both locally and globally. The Zen Den also carries a wide array of postpartum support products, breastfeeding supplies, and baby/small child gifts.
